Deanna Parks

I am honored to be part of the Heideman team. This is an incredible group of dedicated educators who truly have our students' best interests at heart in the important daily role they play in their lives, virtually or in person!

I bring with me over 29 years of experience in education, the last 18 as an elementary administrator. This community is very dear to my heart. I am also a proud mother of two children who thrive in Tustin Unified. I live in the world of education as a leader, teacher, and parent.

Success comes from working as a team. Being actively involved in your child's education is essential to developing a strong partnership for every student's success, and this starts at home. Make sure you take time every day to connect and be present with your child. Talk to your child about what they are doing in school, have them read to you, provide a quiet place to do homework every day, and help your child stay organized. Showing your child that you care demonstrates how important an education is. I experience this myself as an educator and a parent. Reading with your child every day is essential to applying skills and making reading a special experience. It raises children who love to read!

At Heideman, we understand that every child is unique, and our mission is to meet the needs of each student and prepare them to be productive citizens of this world, both academically and emotionally.
